The Factory Youth Center

The Factory Youth Center is located at 27 Paradise Lane, Paradise, PA. It is a unique opportunity for teenagers from all backgrounds and styles to come and receive basic help with life.  In the midst of struggling with pain and poverty and feeling overwhelmed with the problems of life, The Factory exists to offer help and instill hope.

Our goal is to be a safe place for teens to connect with one another and to connect with a God who cares about them.  We want to be a resource to their whole family offering assistance financially, emotionally, environmentally, and spiritually

Youth Center Programs

Open Door Nights

Teens and Staff from The Factory Youth Center
Every Monday and Thursday Nights from 6-8pm. The Factory Youth Center is open to all students in grades 6 through grades 12.

These nights are fun, upbeat, and provide a safe place for teens to come and hang out and connect with one another. Each night volunteers from our area churches and businesses provide a full-course and delicious meal for all the teens and staff.  Teens enjoy taking leftovers home to their families.

Our "lesson time" offers us a chance to share with them how God can help them deal with their pain and help them overcome their obstacles.  These lounge times are high energy, media-driven, and culturally relevant meetings where teens can interact with a message of hope and learn healthy coping skills.

Mentoring

Teens need to know that adults care about them. Psychologist have proven that in order for a teenager to be able to develop emotionally, intellectually, spiritually, and in so many other areas, they need to be surrounded by adults who love for who they are and will encourage them to reach their potential.

The ministry of mentoring gives a chance for our dedicated volunteers to be able to meet individually with the teenagers in a setting where they can cultivate a relationship of trust and support with the teens. These relationships offer the staff a chance to show love, help, and care on an individual basis.

Partners with Parents

Bi-monthly meetings are held for the parents of teens who attend The Factory. These meetings provide outlets for parents to discuss issues related to raising and dealing with their teenagers.  These meetings also offer opportunities for the staff to building relationships of trust and respect with the parents in order for The Factory to be able to partner more effectively and resource more appropriately with the parents.
