We have finished the exterior of The Factory House and are working on Phase 2. Phase 2 includes new electrical work, plumbing, and HVAC. We have received a grant for the handicap accessibility renovations and that work will be completed by the end of the fall 2009.
What will it be used for?
The building will become a hub for organizations to offer practical help to the community. The purpose would be to help the community reach the community. Some of the programs that could become available include:
* After school program for kids
*After school tutoring program for students
• Crisis intervention
• Financial assistance
• Handicap and disability programs
• Job skills training
• Life skills training
• Facilities for handicap and special need programs
• Medical/Dental/Eye help
* Professional counseling
* Spiritual guidance and help
When will The Factory House be open?
The board of directors has targeted January 2010 as to when we will begin offering programs and servies from The Factory House. Stay tuned for more on our opening ceremony.
